Abstract

The paper aims to present the design of new models of modular multicopter UAV, where shape and performance are adapted to the current requirements of the profile market, the needs of users, and have a different aesthetic from what currently exists, which ensures good performance at a competitive price. The drone is designed to meet performance requirements such as planned flight duration (hover), system efficiency, maximum load, and maximum flight distance. Flying autonomy increases with drone configuration: a larger number of modules require more motors that allow a higher travel speed, and therefore a greater distance travelled by the drone. The 3D modelling of the drone was obtained using Autodesk Fusion 360 program for three configurations: tricopter, quadcopter and hexacopter.
