The aim of this paper is to study the influence of auxiliary view method, as a method of descriptive geometry, in studying and recognizing the geometry of an object. An application of auxiliary primary view for a solid, used in students’ assessment, is presented. The influence of descriptive geometry studied method on the results of axonometric students’ evaluation are compared according to gender variable. Conclusions show the positive influence of the auxiliary view method on female students results.
