Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 10th International Conference on Engineering Graphics and Design "ICEGD 2026 – Graphic Communication in the AI Era", organized by the Department of Graphic Communication within the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Building Services of the "Gheorghe Asachi" Technical University of Iași, Romania. Co-organizer Romanian Society of Engineering Graphics – SORGING.
The first edition of the ICEGD International Conference was held in Bucharest in 2005, continuing the series of national symposia on the same themes. The following conferences, which took place in Galați (2007), Cluj-Napoca (2009 and 2024), Iași (2011), Timișoara (2013), Brașov (2015), Constanța (2017) and Craiova (2019), represented an opportunity for both teachers and specialists in the field of engineering graphics, as well as for students of technical faculties in Romania and abroad, to share their experiences and research results in the field of engineering graphics.

9th International Conference on Engineering Graphics and Design took place in Cluj-Napoca at Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. Presentations of scientific work were held related to design, engineering, architecture, image processing. Conference proceedings have been published in JIDEG.

5th International Conference on Engineering Graphics and Design was held at University Politehnica of Timișoara, organized by Conf. dr. ing. Gheorghe Belea. Conference proceedings were published in Scientific Bulletin Politehnica Timișoara
4th International Conference on Engineering Graphics and Design took place in Iași, 2-4 iunie 2011. The main theme was set on ecodesign. The organizers were Technocal University „Gheorghe Asachi” Iaşi, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Building Services, Descriptive Geometry and technical drawing department with the help of faculty of machines manufacturing and industrial management and Faculty of Mechanics. Papers were published in the TU Iasși Scientific Bulletin.
3rd International Conference on Engineering Graphics and Design was held on 12-13 June 2009, in Cluj-Napoca, organized by Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Faculty of Mechanics, through the Descirptive Geometry and Engineering Graphics Department, in cooperation with the DGTD colective from the faculties of Civil Engineering, Buildin Services, Architecture and Urban Planning from UTC-N. The conference was organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation from Romania and The Romanian Society of Engineering Graphics – SORGING. Papers were published in în Revista Acta Technica Napocensis, Series: Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, Nr. 52, Vol. Ia şi Vol. Ib (690 pages), from Editura UTPRES Cluj-Napoca, 2009, ISSN 1221-5972.
2nd International Conference on Engineering Graphics and Design took place in Galati. The conference was organized by „Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati (coordonator proiect CEEX, modulul III, director prof.dr.ing. Baicu Ioan – şef catedra Grafică, Mecanisme şi Toleranţe), University Politehnica of Bucharest (partener 1 – reprezentant prof.dr.ing. Simion Ionel) and Transilvania University of Brasov (partener 2 – reprezentant prof.dr.ing. Velicu Doru). The First International Conference on Engineering Graphics and Design organized by the Engineering Graphics and Industrial Design Department of University Politehnica of Bucharest. Obiectivele Conferinţei au fost consolidarea colaborării şi stimularea cercetării ştiinţifice în domeniul graficii inginereşti. ICEGD 2005 a marcat un jubileu – A X-a Conferinţă de Grafică Inginerească – devenită, cu acest prilej, o manifestare internaţională. The conference proceedings were made up of 126 comunications, presented in 4 sections.
The conference welcomes original research papers in the field of engineering graphics and industrial design. Please USE OUR ARTICLE TEMPLATE when submitting your work. Once an author submits an article, the paper will follow the process of a double-blind peer review. After the review, the author will be notified of the results and if accepted, will be required to pay the conference fee. Following proof of payment, the author will be notified with more information regarding the following steps.
